Kicker Phil Dawson skipped the Cleveland Browns’ first voluntary offseason workout on Monday in a possible contract protest. Dawson, the second-leading scorer in team history behind Hall of Famer Lou “The Toe” Groza, is in the final year of his deal. He has been asking for a new contract for several years.
